POSTCARD SHOW

2000

‘Lost Hotels of Darwin’: A series of postcards that memorialised the four lost hotels of Darwin. Produced in response to the wanton destruction and unexpected demolition of the beautiful, Hotel Darwin, which happened the previous year in 1999, when I was visiting for the Darwin Festival. I only knew the latter, the other three hotels existed in myths I had heard when I lived in Darwin.
